Check out the latest information right here about my current
work in progress. This page will be updated from time to time
when I think I have something interesting to report!

August 15, 2008  Today I'm releasing my novella A Christmas
Castle on this website, free for the public to read in its entirety.
Hoping to drum up a little excitement for this and my other books,
I've decided to let the public read this short novel for adults
(though some older teens may like it too) for free and without any
registration required. Click
here to start reading. For more
information, check out my
press release. No date has yet been set
for publication in book form, so this website is the only place you
can read
A Christmas Castle at the moment. I expect to keep the
novella available for the public to read at least through Christmas.
Enjoy!

August 3, 2008  I am getting ready to announce some interesting
news about my latest writing project in a couple of weeks. The
novella is titled
A Christmas Castle. Check out this website for
complete details very shortly!

June 18, 2008  In late April I completed the first draft of my latest
project, a novella. I've since passed it around to a few people to
preview and edit, and over the last two weeks I've been busily
working to get in into final shape. This short novel is primarily a
story for adults, though older high schoolers should enjoy it too.
Details about the title, story and other related information will be
released at a future date.

February 29, 2008  Happy Leap Year Day! Just a bit of info on my
latest book. I began writing it during the last week of January and
am near the end of Chapter Five. I won't give any more specifics
until I have the first draft completed, but it will be a short novel with
a slight literary bent so I can exercise my creative skills. I'll keep
you posted.

November 25, 2007  About two weeks ago I finished the outline to
my next project, a non-children's book which I plan to begin writing
sometime in January. So right now, other than a few minor writing
related activities and some Christmas shopping, I am recharging my
creative batteries. More info on this new volume at a later date.

July 18, 2007  The Saving Light was released a few weeks ago and
is now available to the public! Go to my
Ordering Info page which
provides links and phone numbers so you can get a copy. Now the
trilogy is complete and all your questions will be answered. Thanks
for reading and enjoy the book!

June 8, 2007  Finally, the editing is over! I just spent several weeks
doing a last edit on my proof book for
The Saving Light, and today I
mailed out the final approval for the corrected version of the proof.
Now it will just be a short wait until the book is available to the
public on the publisher's website as well as other on-line book
selling sites. Links to all of these sites are on the
Ordering Info
page. Pretty soon I'll be buying a few copies myself to take around
when I do some local book signings. The wait is almost over!

March 31, 2007  Better late than never, but today I mailed out my
book to the publisher! I hope to receive a proof copy back within
four to six weeks so I can give it a final read. At this point, expect
The Saving Light sometime in early summer!

February 25, 2007  I completed the major edit of my book a few
days ago and am getting the manuscript prepared to send off to the
publisher, hopefully by mid March. I'm waiting on the finished cover
art and, after a final read, plan to send it on its way. I can see the
light at the end of the timedoor!

January 11, 2007  The map that will be included in The Saving Light
is now posted on this site for you to view. Go to the
Map Room.
Since I am completing the trilogy, I thought a map of Endora and
Solarin would be a nice touch in the last book. And since
Christopher and Molly check out some new terrain in this volume, a
map might come in handy anyway to track particular parts of their
journey.

December 27, 2006  I finally finished the map of the kingdoms of
Endora and Solarin earlier this month. It will be included in
The
Saving Light when it is published next summer. Look for a preview
of it in the
Map Room sometime in January!

November 11, 2006  Today on this site I posted a sneak preview
of Chapter One from
The Saving Light, Book III in The Endora
Trilogy. The book will be released next summer. The title of the
book is taken from a line in the poem that Molly wrote near the
end of
The Sword and the Crown (Book II, Chapter 18). Hope
you all enjoy the teaser!

October 29, 2006  Great news! Today I finished the first draft of
Book III in The Endora Trilogy! After 37 weeks at the keyboard,
I can finally take a short breather (maybe a day or two!) before I
move on to the editing stage, though much editing has already
been done as I completed each chapter. A sneak preview of
Chapter One will be published shortly on this site. The main
link will appear on my home page. Be sure to check it out!
Eventually I will also post the cover art and back page text
when those items are ready too. Projected publication is in
Summer 2007. Take care.

August 27, 2006  Here's the latest. I wrote and completed the
outline for Book III in the Endora Trilogy last fall and into
January of this year. I began writing the book in February 2006
and am over three quarters of the way through the first draft. I
hope to have it completed some time in October. The title is still
under wraps, but it will be released soon on this website. Look
for a sneak preview of Chapter One by the end of this year. I'll
keep you posted!
